It seems these days we see more and more advertisements for the latest new product to make you happy and beautiful. If you look at the woman in the picture she looks like she doesnt have a care in the world. These advertisements seem to be missing a huge part of why people should buy there product over others. Theyre missing actual fact.

The author of the advertisement is doing his or her job. They are making you want their product but if you look closer you have to ask yourself a question. Why is this better than any other product? The advertisement does not use real logos. However, it does use ethos. You could assume the advertisement is credible because it is well made and that is what the authors are hoping you will focus on. Still they actual product is probably no better than any other one, and from this advertisement there is really no way to tell.

My writing process is usually quick and sloppy and then I revise it afterwards. I try to get all of my ideas out before I forget them and then go back and organize them later. I don't really like to write. I don't find it that difficult to get a fairly good grade on assignments but if i didn't have to write a paper or a blog i probably wouldn't. However, I believe having a blog will improve my writing. It will most likely help me to express ideas better and practice grammar and other important parts of writing.
Anne Lamott's writing process is a lot different from mine. Hers definitely takes a lot more time and energy. I usually just put my ideas down and organize them the best i can and hope for the best. Obviously she is passionate about writing and enjoys it which is why she has made her career based around writing. They are similar because they both have bad first drafts that are all over the place but after revisement they end up a lot better. I like her writing process and her writing is very entertaining but I think it is a lot different than mine.
